"Great Characters and Absorbing Plot!"

Ariel Knight is one of the legendary gargoyles-- she and her three sisters are the last of their kind. Gargoyles are warriors for God, and they have been released from their servitude and bestowed gifts. Gargoyles can now control their ability to turn to stone and their wings appear as tattoos, when not unfurled. Since they are at loose ends, Ariel and her sisters have opened a security service. Ariel's prospective client is Logan McAllister, a famous songwriter, who has come close to death or dismemberment several times recently. Ariel almost turns Logan's case down, when she learns that James, her ex-lover and a vampire, is Logan's business manager. However, when it becomes evident that dark forces are after Logan and a prophesy is uncovered, Ariel and her sisters decide to help Logan. Ariel and Logan are very attracted to each other, but many forces are determined to tear them apart.

STONE MAIDEN is a great paranormal read! I can't say enough good things about this book. The characters are great and the plot is absorbing. The book kept me on the edge of my seat, and I had serious misgivings about Ariel and Logan ending up together. I had tears in my eyes at the very end, and look forward to the next book. What a satisfying read!
