"complex, unique, and exciting"
Raphael Ramirez, a wolf shifter, is asked by the
leader of all the
shifters to aid Catherine "Cat" Turner. Cat is the only
survivor of a
brutal animal attack, and the animal was a jaguar
shifter. As a result
of this attack, Cat will shift during the full moon. If
Cat survives
the transformation, she will need help adjusting to her
new life as a
shifter. Along with these problems, Cat is hearing the
voice of her
attacker, who happens to be a serial killer. Raphael must
fight his
attraction to Cat and teach her to survive in her new
world. However,
Jack Simpson, the jaguar shifter and serial killer, has a
grudge
against
Raphael and has already targeted Cat. HOWLING MOON very adeptly continues the Sazi series
and left this
reader on pins and needles waiting for the next
installment. The
writing duo of C.T. Adams and Cathy Clamp instill such
liveliness and
complexity into their characters, that I was immediately
drawn into
their story and began to care about the characters. From
the first, I
began to care about Raphael and Cat and hoped the evil
serial killer
would receive justice. The world of HOWLING MOON is
complex, unique,
and exciting, and I highly recommend it.
