"Missing heiress or con-woman -- PI Grady looks for answers but finds love"
The characters in this story make up a sitcom situation
filled with droll humor. Take "Toilet Paper King"
eccentric Archie Peevers with his 3 dysfunctional children
and their spouses; place in Peevers Manor run by the
butler, Dickens and add the newly found illegitimate
granddaughter, Annie Kendall. Security Specialist [aka Private Investigator] Grady
Sullivan feels he needs a scorecard to keep track of the
players and their motives. All Grady knows for sure is
that Annie is not what he expected and he cannot let her
get hurt by Archie's Machiavellian schemes. BUT, is it
only Archie who is scheming? This is a romp on the lighter side of mystery with the
romance of Annie and Grady developing as they try to find --
not who has the motive, as they all seem to have one, but
who is doing more than just wishing Archie and now Annie
dead. The tongue-in-cheek humor as well as plot twists
build this story into one I can recommend for readers who
wish to relax with a light romantic mystery. Cy Korte © Copyright January 2001 for eBOOKISLE.com &
