"A very humorous story"
Clair Frankenstein is determined to prove herself in the
scientific world. After all, she is a Frankenstein and a
scientific mind runs in the family. In an attempt to prove
her hypothesis that there are vampires in London, Clair
breaks into Baron Huntsley's house. When Baron Huntsley
confronts Clair, her actions and answers intrigue him. When
Huntsley visits Clair the next day, she admits her mistake
in thinking him a vampire but soon focuses on her next
victim. Huntsley decides that he must protect Clair, before
she gets herself in serious trouble. Unfortunately, this
task is easier said than done! THE REMARKABLE MISS FRANKENSTEIN is a highly entertaining
paranormal romance with interesting, eccentric characters.
Clair comes from a very eccentric family, and she fits
right into it. She is very focused and driven, and she
reminds me of the Evie character in THE MUMMY movies.
Clair's single-mindedness tends to get her into many
scrapes, which Huntsley helps her out of. Huntsley is a
hardened rake, who finds himself falling for our unusual
heroine. Miss Frankenstein's family consists of a bunch of
kooky, eccentric characters-- such as, her aunt, who thinks
she is Queen Elizabeth and reads tarot cards; another aunt,
who practices taxidermy and gives pet funerals; and an
uncle, who created a person from spare parts. All in all, THE REMARKABLE MISS FRANKENSTEIN is a very
humorous read. I highly recommend it. Posted August 22, 2005
