"Looking for justice for a friend, Madison finds love as well as danger"
Madison Montgomery was just an ordinary Biology teacher.
When her best friend commits suicide after being raped,
Madison was determined to do whatever it takes to find and
bring the man to justice. She had only 2 clues: he had a
tattoo and he dropped a notebook. So, with some effort she
found herself hired as the cook/housekeeper for a
Michigan's Upper Peninsula {UP} wolf search group where
every member but one was suspect. Walker Armstrong was the strong, silent type and definitely
not a suspect. Unfortunately for Madison, he was also
hostile toward Madison from the time they met. As the base
for the group was at his home, he was unavoidable... and
unforgettable. Madison was not interested in being his
summer fling, but neither was she able to resist this
wounded warrior. As Madison searches for justice to put
her friend's memories in peace; she also challenges Walker
to find peace with his past. Even while recognizing it is
a bit foolhardy, Madison's feelings and actions are
compellingly human. Her secret quest puts her in jeopardy...
she realizes too late that she is in more danger than she
can handle. This contemporary drama has a romantic conflict that you
can appreciate. The background of the story -- the wolf
search and look at nature in the Michigan UP -- is well
written and realistic. Ms. Raffin tells a story of an
ordinary woman who, while doing an ordinary job as
housekeeper, also does something extraordinary. Looking
for justice, she unexpectedly finds love. Cy Korte © Copyright October, 2001 for eBOOKISLE.com &
