"The sex is hot and the humor outrageous!"

Caitlyn James was out celebrating her twenty-fourth birthday with her sorority sisters when they ended up in an accident. Since she was sitting where the impact occurred, she got the worst of it. Actually, she died. When she wakes up in a hospital room, she's told what happened. The O.S.F. was just looking for a guinea pig to try their experiments on. Not only did they bring her back to life, more than once, they also "enhanced" her. She now has a chip in her brain that talks to her and can throw her opponents across a room. And since the O.S.F. has brought her back, so to speak, they want her to work for them, which Caitlyn has no intention of doing. Being a spy isn't her thing. She owns and works at a beauty salon.

Time goes by and eventually, Caitlyn runs into her best friend, Stacy, and the two go out and celebrate. Naturally, all the nanobots in Caitlyn's body won't allow her to get drunk. When the team that put Caitlyn "together" starts getting killed by a rogue agent, the Boss wants Caitlyn to bring him in. At first, Caitlyn refuses. Then her conscience eventually gets the better of her and she reluctantly agrees.

What happens when the agent Caitlyn is sent to bring in turns out to be one gorgeous hunk of man that sets her hormones all atwitter? Will she bring him in? Is he committing the murders?

HELLO, GORGEOUS! is one of the funniest books I have ever read! MaryJanice Davidson has once again brought to life an independent, wise cracking heroine who does things she really doesn't want do, but her conscience guides her into. This is like reading THE BIONIC WOMAN combined with THE NANNY, not that this story takes place in New Jersey, but Caitlyn is just as outspoken and brash. My only problem with this story is that it was too short! And just wait until you find out who Stacy hooks up with. The story is fast paced, the sex is hot and the humor outrageous! I highly recommend this story to everyone!

SUMMARY

Caitlyn James had one hell of a 21st birthday party - and that's exactly where she woke up - hell. She has been retooled - ala the bionic woman - and now is supposed to work for the government. She has other plans. But when the scientists on the team begin to turn up dead, Caitlyn must give in to her despicable boss and track down the Wolf, a renegade agent suspected of the murders. But when she finds him, things don't go quite as anyone (including Caitlyn) planned.
