"A fabulous paranormal anthology"
Good anthologies are sometimes hard to come by so when I
find one I'm elated. I'll be the first to admit that I
enjoy anthologies because I get a variety of stories in one
book. This anthology really assuaged my love of the
paranormal with these stories. Haunted Hearts by Kim Cox was the first story about two
ghosts who were murdered and they want to know why so they
can finally not only be together but they can rest in
peace. The added bonus is they might just get their
grandson and niece together as well. Mistletoe Medium by Elizabeth Delisi is a sequel of sorts
to her first book FATAL FORTUNE. Lottie Baldwin, a fortune
teller decides it's time to move on after she finds out her
long time love walks on the wrong side of the law. She
meets deputy sheriff Harlan Erikson who may be just what
she needs to get her life back together. Can he accept that
she is a psychic? Valentine's Inn by Chris Grover tells us the story of
Rianna Gordan who has inherited an inn from her uncle.
While she's trying to decide whether to sell or keep the
cozy country inn, she meets Josh Byford and his cat who try
to convince her to keep the inn only Josh and his cat have
a habit of disappearing when other people are around. Can
Rianna find an investment partner and figure out the
mystery of Josh? Curse of Osiris by Elaine Hopper is the next story which is
about Alexis Hart who unbeknownst to her bears the mark of
Osiris. Zane Ryan has come to rescue her but will he be too
late to save her from The Evil One? GHOST OF AULD LANG SYNE is by Maureen McMahon. This story
is a sequel to her gothic romance RETURN OF THE GULLS.
Stacey Christian and Peter Mansfield were college
sweethearts but have drifted apart until they meet again at
the home of Stacey's best friend Holly. There they have to
solve the mystery of Clementine Kreen's disappearance
decades before. Can they do it? FATE'S LITTLE TRICK by Sheryl Hames Torres is the story of
Gemma McKinsey Fuller who was in a horrible car accident
that killed her husband and child and left her deaf and
able to communicate telepathically with people who are
hurting. This is the case with Emily and her father Jared
who are running from Jared's in-laws whom he's convinced is
trying to gain custody of his precious daughter, Emily. Can
Gemma help them and can they heal Gemma? This is a guaranteed good read. Every story was a joy to
read. I just wish this fabulous anthology had been much
longer simply for the fact that I didn't want it to end. Reviewed by Kathy Boswell
