"A fine anthology!"
I am an absolute anthology-aholic! I love a good anthology
especially if all of the stories in the anthology are good
as is the case with this one. The Wicked Witch of the West Side by MaryJanice Davidson
tells us the story of Jeannie Desajrdin, editor for small
press publisher Anderson and Son. She's just been handed
the job of editor for Hope Desire, their best selling
author and boy is she pissed. She's even more pissed when
she finds out that Hope desire is actually Steven McCord,
an ex-cop! Why her and why is he so darned good looking? Instruction in Seduction by Jamie Denton is the story of
Jackson Hunt and Eden Matthews, partners for the Riverside
County Sheriff's Department. Eden thinks she's doing
something wrong with the guys she dates because they all
dump her so she asks Jackson to help her out. Jackson has
had a crush on Eden for ages and doesn't want to spoil a
good friendship or a partnership. What should he do? Wicked Ways by Susanna Carr tells us about Payton Lovejoy,
the CEO of Lovejoy Unmentionables. She can't believe she's
in a male strip bar trying to please a client. All she
wants to do is call Mike at the Library Hotline and listen
to his sexy voice over and over again. What she doesn't
know is Mike is in town with an ulterior motive. Still he
can't help but get close to Payton since she's one of the
suspects. Is she guilty or not? These three stories were exceptional and spicy hot. I loved
them all. I eagerly look forward to more Brava anthologies
especially with these three fabulous authors. Reviewed by Kathy Boswell
