"A great example of futuristic romance"

Claudia Cameron is taking a much needed vacation to Greece, after winning the trip in a cooking contest. Little does Claudia expect to be kidnapped by the very hungry men of second shift from the space ship, The Hatton. After the men get plastered on Greek booze, they decide to take Claudia back with them for her culinary skills. When Denys Duchamp, the shift officer, learns of his men's mischief, he tries to keep Claudia in the dark about their mission. Because the Hatton is from the future, Denys fears Claudia might change the future if she returns to her time with too much knowledge. Unfortunately, Claudia has an insatiable curiosity and a very determined attitude.

Ms. Sizemore creates a wonderful futuristic romance, with a strong, independent heroine and a yummy hero. Ms. Sizemore's world is unique and intriguing, with an alien threat that ensnares mortal men. Claudia makes the best of her situation and learns all that she can, in order to deal with the predicament that she finds herself in. Denys is torn between his feelings for Claudia and his duty to the mission. Lovers of futuristic romance take note: WALKING ON THE MOON is a great example of this genre.

SUMMARY

Award-winning chili maker Claudia Cameron comes to Greece in search of adventure and romance—and is kidnapped by a crew of hungry, time-traveling space miners in search of a cook.

Instead of a Mediterranean holiday, she finds herself walking on the moons of Mars. But once she's shanghaied on board the HATTON, Claudia must contend with not only the alien environment, real live aliens, the ship's hardhearted captain, but also her growing attraction to sexy ship's officer Denys DuChamp.

Denys is on a mission from a war-torn future. He's determined to do anything to save his time—no matter what. If it means keeping Claudia—who continues to refer to him as an "alien lizard terrorist"—prisoner, so be it. Even if it means destroying their burgeoning love—so be it. Denys can be as stubborn and pigheaded as a bulldog when he's on a mission.

However, Claudia isn't exactly the helpless prisoner type. She has a few tricks up her proverbial sleeve that come in mighty handy when she has to save her world—and her man—from the evil alien Sirens.
