"HOT shapeshifter intrigue"
Catalin Bengoa came to Barcelona, Spain to find out what
has happened to her father. She is trying to find out what
he meant about 'the beast' in his journal and why she is
feeling change coming. Francisco Marguez, an Alpha male wolf of his clan, scents
her change coming as well as that she is an Innocent. He
wants to help her through it without the complications of
mating but Fate and others have different ideas. Danger
finds Catalin and Francisco now has a choice to make. Can
these two survive the danger and find out what Fate has in
store for them? Madison Foxe really knows how to keep you spellbound, even
with a short story. I started reading this and could not
put it down. I swear my glasses steamed up. Ms. Foxe
really knows how to bring intrigue, romance, and excitement
to life. I can't wait to read the second book in this
series. Posted February 11, 2006

Maybe at first she was prey – the beautiful Catalin Bengoa. Especially at the hands of a Wolf like the pack dominate, rogue, artist extraordinaire, Cisco Marquez. It happened in Barcelona, at a small, elite gallery of oils that called to her senses, touching her in places she did not understand, just as had the dark, sultry Cisco, who recognized her duality before it ever surfaced. What she accepted as a restless soul he saw as primal passion, a beast. But could he draw her from her depths without letting her succumb to the torment an Innocent would go through? It was an unknown place where human passed to wolf, unprepared.
