"A highly recommended vampire romance!"
Sable Taylor is a bounty hunter and, by necessity, a
loner. She's already escaped the physical and
psychological bonds of one Master vampire in her past and
has no interest in getting involved with another arrogant,
domineering vamp. None of this prevents her reckless
headstrong ways catching the eye of one persistent fellow
bounty hunter and centuries-old Master vamp, Derek
Atkinson. There's more than meets the eye to Agent Atkinson than
just his gorgeous body and dark good looks. He's been
watching Sable for the last two years, and lusting after
her just as long. He knows that her passionate dedication
to the job is more than a perfect match for his own along
with her other perfect and delectable features, but none
more perfect than her compelling sensuality. Convincing the solitary hunter of their sexual
compatibility is a challenge that Derek would like to meet
if given half the chance. When Sable's safety is threatened during a case, she is
forced to recognize that not only does she trust Derek to
pleasure her body and fulfill her every physical need, she
trusts him with her life. Sable knows it's only a matter
of time before she must risk his alienation and contempt
and trust him with even more. Day has peopled her story with a lusty and appealing hero
and heroine who successfully drive the plot through its
numerous twists and turns to a satisfying conclusion. From
the first chase scene that opens this book and hooks the
reader, to the action-packed surprise ending, MISLED is a
well-written, taut thrill ride with just enough espionage
and intrigue to please the suspense set, and enough extra-
spicy love scenes and realistic dialogue to titillate the
erotica set. A highly recommended vampire romance! Posted December 12, 2005
