"A laugh out loud funny anthology!"
These three stories in this anthology were absolutely
fabulous reads. I giggled and I laughed out loud, garnering
very strange looks from a room full of people at my
daughter's orthodontist but I didn't care as I was so
immersed in these stories. Bird of Paradise by Katie MacAlister is an absolute comedy
of errors. If things can go wrong, they will. Take a
reality game show that tries to match a man and a woman
till the bitter end where they will win a trip to paradise
and a million dollars. This first story is about Hero and
Adam who were absolutely made for each other even though
they fight it tooth and nail. Add a suicidal cat named
Jesus, of all things, and his friend, the gecko, and you
have the vacation from hell. Nothing is what it seems but
all in all, this was a laugh out loud story. Breaking The Rules Jennifer Archer tells us the story of
Claire and Mitch. Claire and her fiancé James are
contestants in this crazy contest. It was all James' idea
so they could become closer but it just isn't working that
way. Take Mitch, a cameraman who is trying to get the head
honcho to notice him and throw them together. What you get
is a wonderful happy every after. Hot Shot by Sheridon Smythe is Whitney and Rand's story.
Whitney is there because the father she never knew is the
host of the show and Rand is there because of his deceased
wife's crazy will. When "Ice Cuba" Whitney meets Rand, they
talk over their situations and decide maybe they can help
each other but what they don't count on is their feelings
for each other. This anthology is a must read for those who enjoy romantic
comedy because this one will make you smile, giggle and
just belly laugh. I highly recommend this one. Reviewed by Kathy Boswell
