"Original, Fairly Bloodless, Vampire Tale"

Sue Cooper is a scientist. Adrian Smith is the vampire sent by Death to kill her because of her research. This was a pretty good story. The hero has a number of the original taboos of a vampire and the heroine is an intelligent woman. Not a lot of blood sucking in this one and a fairly original story line.
