"A heartwarming love story!"
Marrin's first husband brought her and her two daughters to
the planet Lujawed as one of the first colonists. Now on
her deathbed, her second husband, Keane, a Saveeran, is
sitting by her side and holding her hand. Just the day
before, Keane woke Marrin in his usual way, by making love
to her. It's obvious the two of them are deeply in love.
They have accomplished much on this desert planet. Where
once they had to use dirty bath water to water the crops,
they can now indulge in bathing regularly. Their estate is
highly profitable and all Marrin's daughters are a part of
the corporation she and Keane built. The only flaw in
Marrin's long life is her Saveeran husband. As a Saveeran,
Keane doesn't age and is all but immortal. Now that Marrin's life is just about over, what will Keane
do? How will he go on without the love of his life? Without
the woman he built his life around? AMIDST A CROWD OF STARS is a very original story. Megan
Hart once again pulls us into this very tender story of
love. This story is written in a very different fashion; we
go backwards instead of forward in this hauntingly
beautiful love story. We start when Marrin's life is just
about over and go back in time until she meets and weds
Keane. And while the sex is very hot, just like in all
Megan Hart's stories, this is a very sad love story. Even
though AMIDST A CROWD OF STARS is short, it still packs one
whale of a punch. I very highly recommend this one!
