"Wonderful Sci Fi Romance!"
Zorroc was forced to take over leadership of his people
with the death of his father at a very young age. Now, his
enemies have come up with a new way to take over their
territory. Instead of fighting, the Dargons have released a
mist into the Gattonian atmosphere containing a virus. Of
course, this virus doesn't kill; it only renders all the
females sterile. In order to save his race, Zorroc has come
up with a plan. He will take some of his most trusted men
to the planet Earth and bring back some females since his
scientists have already confirmed that Earth women are
compatible with the Gattonians. But then again, there is
one female in particular Zorroc is interested in claiming
from Earth. Catarina "Cat" Achilles has a group of friends. The three
of them are all alone and have stuck together since
childhood. Cat is considered the ditzy one among the trio
due to her love of science fiction and trying to save cats.
Dee is a police officer and very much into self-defense.
Angel is a scientist and doesn't accept things on faith.
Leaving her friends and going to her car, Cat sees a Pooka,
or cat man. When she tries to get him to move so she can
get into her car, he puts his arms around her and she wakes
up in a strange place. When Zorroc tells Cat she's on a space ship and is his
intended, Cat is actually a bit skeptical for a change.
Zorroc finally manages to convince Cat of the truth and
tells her of his mission. Cat immediately takes up the
challenge and comes up with a way for her "cat man" to get
some women from Earth. They'll do it at a sci-fi convention
Cat is in charge of. She even agrees to leave with Zorroc,
if he will leave Dee and Angel on Earth. Imagine her surprise when Cat finds out Dee and Angel are
accompanying them to Zorroc's home world. Now we follow
their journey from Earth to Zorroc's home. Will the women of Zorroc's home accept them when they
arrive? Will the Dargons give up, or will they pursue
Zorroc? What of Dee and Angel? Will they find love among
the "cat men"? And what of Cat and Zorroc, will they find
love? ZORROC FELINE PREDATORS OF GANZ is a thrilling, danger-
filled race through space. Lil Gibson has done a wonderful
job of bringing the characters to life in this science
fiction story. The mix of the quirky Cat and the oh so
stoic Zorroc is one which will have you laughing out loud.
I did. The action starts with the very first page and kept
me turning pages way after my bedtime. The mix of cultures
is also very engaging. And I love the names of the kittens
Cat brought with her, Spock and Scotty. This is a story I
really enjoyed reading and I highly recommend it!
