"The Write Stuff"
Writer Albert Percival Hennessy is working on a novel and
caretaking on an island in New England, when it is invaded
by Heaven McClure. Heaven is running away from a persistent
ex-husband and is at first frightened by Hennessy's close
resemblance to her ex-hubby. Heaven (Venny) has lost her construction business due to
the collapse of a school wall her ex-husband supervised.
Her ex has just been released from prison after new
evidence shows he was not responsible for the collapse and
hopes to get Venny back--but she wants no part of her
unfaithful ex-spouse. Venny and Hennessy instantly connect and this is very much
a love at first sight story with lots of humor. Poor
Hennessy is mightily concerned about his hairless chest and
even though he is a NY Times bestselling writer, insecure
that Venny will not like the books of A.E. Henson (his
pseudonym). Hennessy is a very endearing hero and even
though the attraction is instant, one feels his real
connection to Venny. HENNESSY'S HEAVEN was a Loveswept book that Judy Gill has
revised and republished. It is a quick, fast and funny read
and the end is extremely satisfying. Reviewed by Linda Hurst
