"Hilarious short story of misunderstandings!"
Michelle has had the hots for fireman Steve for weeks, ever
since they started the course in paramedics. Since the
class will be over after today and she won't see him again,
Michelle finally decides to take matters into her own
hands. Building up her courage, Michelle finally asks Steve
if he wants to go to the beach later. Steve has noticed Michelle himself and when she asks him to
the beach, he is more than happy to accept. After having
been a lifesaver, he knows thongs are against the law and
accepts with the caution against thongs. At this point, things fall apart pretty quickly as Michelle
always wears thongs. A WAR OF WORDS is a humorous look at what can happen when
two people from different areas use a word which has
different meanings. Candace Sams has done her normal
wonderful job of bringing these two characters to life in
this very short story. This story brought to mind the old
Emily Litella skits on Saturday Night Live. This is a
quick, funny story I highly recommend reading.
