"The Perfect Anthology!"
Good anthologies are a joy to read especially when I am a
fan of the authors who are a part of the anthology I'm
asked to review. This is one such anthology. I enjoyed each
and every story. They were all different but they all made
me squirm in my seat! Some Like It Hot by Lori Foster is the first story. Doctor
Cary Rupert has been lusting after his friend Axel's nurse
Nora for ages. She won't give him the time of day and she
dresses in the frumpiest clothes. Then Cary finds out she's
widowed. What can he do to at least make her go out with
him and get to know him? He'll just have to keep working at
it. One Wilde Weekend is by Janelle Denison and this hot story
tells us how Alex Wilde finally gets his Dana to commit. He
sets up the perfect romantic weekend. Now all he has to do
is convince Dana that he wants forever with her. Blue Crush by Erin McCarthy was HOT. Serious Sara, the
pediatrician, just wants one night to be Sexy Sara. All she
wants is one perfect night with a surfer dude or even a
lifeguard. Then she loses her bikini top in the water and a
storm is blowing in fast. Kyle, head lifeguard, sees a
blonde head bobbing in the surf and goes to rescue her. He
can't believe his luck or is it luck? My Thief by MaryJanice Davidson was just a hoot to read.
John Crusher goes into his hotel room to be attacked by a
gorgeous hot woman. She tells him to strip and get into bed
immediately! Next thing John knows is the manager of the
hotel is knocking at the door looking for whoever cracked
the hotel safe. John is very suspicious but plays along.
When the woman decides to leave, John won't let her. She
tells him her name is Robin and she did not steal anything
but her own property. John knows there's more to the story
but will he be able to get it out of Robin? Hot and Bothered by Kayla Perrin is the next story. Trey
Arnold's wife Jenna left him two years ago and now she
wants him to sign separation papers but he won't let her
unless she comes back to Florida and gives them to him
herself. Trey has a plan for getting Jenna back but will it
work? He certainly hopes so because he loves her with all
his heart! Murphy's Law by Morgan Leigh tells us the story of Kat
Murphy. She's had a crush on her boss Sam for years.
Finally she's had enough and turns in her resignation and
heads for a vacation at the beach. Sam is livid and decides
that he'll confront her and find out just what's going on.
What they each find out about the other surprises them both! I immensely enjoyed each and every story in this superb
anthology! I read new to me authors and old favorite
authors. For an excellent read, I highly recommend this one! Reviewed by Kathy Boswell
