"a sweet and sensual vampire story"
Lady Caroline Seton is a woman of culture and breeding.
Though considered a spinster by society standards, she is
elegant, beautiful and just happens to be a century old
vampire. While attending a society function, Caroline
discovers Jack Shaw, the most gorgeous man she has ever
seen. The attraction is instantaneous and all consuming;
so much so that her bloodlust threatens to consume her.
She does not trust herself not to hurt Jack, so she flees
Once Jack laid eyes on Lady Caroline, he could think of
nothing else. She has tried to avoid him but he has a plan
to catch her off guard. As he steps from the shadows of
the garden, there is barely time to indulge in a stolen
kiss before she vanishes from his arms, and the city.
Caroline's reaction has shaken her so badly that the only
thing she can do is get as far away from Jack as possible;
if she is not near him, she cannot hurt him. Though she
will run to the ends of the Earth to protect Jack from a
love that would threaten his life, he is only one step
behind her. When Jack finally catches up with Caroline, he
has a secret of his own that may change everything. But
will a promise to another a century ago doom their
relationship before it begins?
Catching Caroline is a sweet and sensual story about
overcoming obstacles to find happiness. The fact that
misunderstandings and the depth of her feelings are what
keep the lovers apart makes the story all the more
poignant. A romantic escape!
