"thoroughly entertaining"
Due to a lack of suitable mates for the paranormal
population, "The Powers That Be" have encouraged the
joining of paranormals with human mates; and what better
way to get them together than to arrange a "mixed" singles
cruise. Kira needs this vacation, and so does her best friend
Clare. Their high pressure careers are all consuming and
leave little time for anything enjoyable. Kira, an
uninhibited free spirit, has never had much trouble
deciding what she wants and going after it. Clare on the
other hand is reserved and not very experienced. Kira
fantasizes about finding a gorgeous man to scratch her
itch, no strings attached, and with a little luck her best
friend will loosen her inhibitions and find some pleasure
of her own. Braden, an ancient vampire, has been without a mate for so
long he was beginning to give up hope at ever finding
happiness. When he is informed that his life mate is none
other than the vampire hating, man-eating Kira, he can
hardly wait to begin their live together. But convincing
Kira may be a bit more difficult than he expected. Dominik, a powerful lycan, has waited so long for a mate
that when he discovers the beautiful and timid Clare will
be his, it is all he can do not to take possession of her
immediately. He is determined to break through her
defenses and claim her, heart and body. It turns out that
his apprehensive mate has a stubborn streak a mile wide,
but Dominik is up for the challenge. Two of my favorite authors have joined forces to bring us
a thoroughly entertaining paranormal tale of love and
lust. The characters are funny, sexy and oh so interesting
