"A Diverse and emotional vampire story fulfilling WINGS IN NIGHT series"

Amber Lily is the first child ever born of a two vampires. What her powers and limits are, no one knows. Former DPI agent Frank Stiles had captured her once in the past to experiment on her (EMBRACE THE TWILIGHT) and now is after her again. Amber has been having precognizant dreams and on her drive to visit Will and Sarafina, she literally runs into the man, or should I say vampire, of her dreams.

Edge, a vampire with vengeance on his mind, is after Frank Stiles and is not above using Amber Lily. What he never expected was for her to break through the anger to reach his heart.

That he is a 'wild card' in what is already a tense situation proves true when his plan to capture Stiles goes awry. Edge's personality clashes with Amber's extended family from first meeting. Now they must all work together to save Amber and hopefully find a cure for Will.

In this diverse tale, there are a many emotional encounters between characters in the story, not just Amber and Edge. The complex personalities and often too-real emotions of this extended family are well expressed which makes this a satisfying story on many levels.

Having read the rest of the WINGS IN THE NIGHT series will make reading this more fulfilling as you meet characters from most of the other books, but enough is explained that you can enjoy this if you have not read the others. I would recommend you at least read EMBRACE THE TWILIGHT to really grasp the dynamics of all the relationships.
