"An enjoyably suspenseful, romantic story"
Philadelphia billionaire, Cole Williams is in a quandary.
The art statue that was loaned to be the center of his
charity showing has been stolen. He has commissioned a
duplicate to prevent suspicion until he can have the
original found. Elizabeth Caldwell has taken a much needed vacation to make
decisions about the direction of her life. On a whim she
attends an art show and suspects a fraud on display. To
appease her curiosity, she uses her special talents
(telekinesis) and training and 'visits' the display after
hours and while she discovers she is correct, she is also
discovered by Cole. Cole is intrigued and hires Elizabeth to find and retrieve
the stolen statue. But is the missing work of art the only
thing they will discover while working together? Ms. Ferrarella's writing style is well-known to readers for
presenting an enjoyably suspenseful, romantic story using
well-developed characters with believable attitudes.
IMMOVABLE OBJECTS does stand alone but it is part of the
continuation with FAMILY SECRETS: Next Generation. Although
IMMOVABLE OBJECTS obviously introduces characters and
events for the next book in the series, the story is
complete and the story's conclusion is fulfilling. FAMILY SECRETS series is about genetically improved
children and the search for them by both 'good' and 'bad'
factions. Even though the triplet link and special powers
are explained somewhat in IMMOVABLE OBJECTS, to realize the
full scope of the dangerous motivations, you should read
through the series - Particularly when it comes to Titan,
the villain.
