"This book is definitely a keeper and most certainly \'unreturnable\'!"
I love this series. Each book is like catching up on
the latest news with your best friend...only she's undead.
Betsy Taylor, Queen of the Undead, is heading into the
holidays and Christmas is just around the corner as well
as she is busy trying to plan a wedding. Yes, she and Eric
Sinclair have finally accepted their feelings for one
another and set a date. Or rather Betsy has set a date,
which she keeps forgetting. So Betsy, once again, tries to create some level of
normalcy out of her undead life by planning her wedding
and getting some shopping done for Christmas.
Unfortunately, life or rather the lack of it, has other
plans as it once again starts to unravel. Jon, a former vampire hunter or Blade Warrior as he
calls himself, is now 19 and needs a place to stay while
he starts college. Jessica, her best and very rich friend,
is dating Nick the cop who used to lust after Betsy and
seems to keep returning to her front doorstep despite
Sinclair's best efforts to 'mind-mojo' him. Laura, her
step sister and Satan's daughter, is having issues with
repressed anger. The 'Ant' or rather Betsy's evil step-
mother just gave birth. And to top it all off the Driveway
Killer is on the loose leaving his female short blonde
haired victims in the Wal-Mart parking lot. Other than
that life is status quo for Betsy. Oh, and she sees dead
people...like in the movie. Undead and Unreturnable is the 4th book in the 'Undead'
series and is a side-splitting read, guaranteed to snap
anyone out of a bad mood. I totally enjoyed hooking up
once again with all the familiar secondary characters as I
journeyed through Betsy's latest escapades. Ms. Davidson
tore this genre wide open with the first book Undead and
Unwed, and she continues to keep the bar set high with
laughter and sharp wit on each succeeding novel. This book
is definitely a keeper and most certainly 'unreturnable'!
