Although niece to Sovereign Alexander of planet Oasis, Lily is never left to forget that she is the daughter of the Circe witch who killed his queen and infant son. Her Sovereign has asked her to approach the Senate to request aid now that the Ravigans are attempting to conquer their planet; so she is secreted onto a cargo ship. When Ravigans attack the cargo ship, she is desperate and assists an escaping cyro-prisoner and they join together to escape the doomed ship.

Shaun Phoenix has had an unusual life, but nothing in his memory is as unusual as what is happening now that he met Lily. Suddenly he has psi-powers of a Circe witch which is impossible as all Circe males with powers are killed at birth. He agrees to become Lily's protector and his powers and love for Lily grows. Somehow they must find a way to prevent a war and be together but schemes and betrayals of the leaders of 3 different planets stand in their way.

Author Colby Hodge, also writing as Cindy Holby, has a skill at weaving a tale you don't want to miss. STARGAZER is a futuristic romance that is full of adventure and intrigue. The humor and dialogue are balanced and fast paced. STARGAZER keeps you speculating as the plot thickens and twists and motives and abilities are explored. If the publisher fulfills the indication at the story's end, Reuben, Shaun's best friend and sexy smuggler pilot, will be the next story in Ms. Hodge's universe.
