Marina, an agent in the Interplanetary Enforcement Unit,
has just been offered her dream assignment on a very high
profile case. There has been a series of kidnappings. It
is suspected that slave traffickers from the BDSM planet
of Xarta are taking Earth women to be sold as unwilling
submissives. What Marina doesn't realize is that she must
go undercover as a sub to track the missing women. Kaden
is an Interplanetary Marshall from the Planet Xarta, and
in charge of training Marina to take on the role of a
submissive. Sparks fly when Marina's fiercely independent
personality meets Kaden's dominate one, and where there is
a spark the flames are not far behind. Bound to Trust is the first book in the author's BDSM
series, Chains of Love. This is the only book in this
genre that I have read but this author is on my must read
list. Vividly written characters are Ms. Burton's
trademark and her fans will not be disappointed. The
heroine, Marina, undergoes a life altering transformation
under the attentive instruction of Kaden, a complex and
ultra sexy hero. The love scenes are very emotional and
erotic but not for the faint of heart. The raw emotions of
the characters feel very genuine and you are quite
effectively drawn into their relationship. A must read for
fans of the BDSM genre, and if you do not normally read
this genre, try it, you just might like it. Review date: August 27, 2004

Several Earth women have disappeared, their trail leading to Xarta, a BDSM planet. Marina, Earth intergalactic investigator, knows that solving this case means a long-awaited promotion.
