"Another fabulous Dirk and Steele story!"
Ever since I read TIGER EYE, I've eagerly awaited
each and every Dirk and Steele book and each and every one
has not only lived up to my expectations but far exceeded
them in what I believe a good read is. Of course, this
one is no exception. Be forewarned, if you are expecting a
hard edged thrill a minute roller coaster ride of action
and adventure, then this is definitely the book for you. Dean and Miri were best friends when they were
young but when they were fifteen, they saw each other
murdered. They both assumed each had died but now twenty
years later they finally meet again. Neither can believe
their own eyes when they recognize each other. It's not
possible they believe but there they are. Now they are
caught up in a game complete with ancient artifacts, two
pieces of jade, shape-shifting dragons and a whole slew of
villains. Now all they have to do is find the clues and
then piece them together like a puzzle. Only this is one
puzzle they must solve in a matter of life or death. Who
and how many will pay the ultimate price before the puzzle
is finally solved?
Wow, what a story! I was on pins and needles page
after page. This book is one of the most riveting I've
ever had the opportunity to read. I believe Marjorie M.
Liu gets better and better with every Dirk and Steele
story. Bring on another one, Marjorie. I'm ready! Kathy Boswell © July 2006
