"A Dark and Suspenseful Paranormal tale"
FBI Special Agent in Charge Diana Reyes decides to go
undercover to flush out a killer who has already tortured
and murdered two women. She believes the killer selected

vampires decided to take advantage of the carnage, Ryder

friend and fellow physician by the name of Danvers had
taken him
in and helped him to control his blood lust. Each
generation
of Danvers, physicians all, had inherited the job of
Ryder's keeper. His current keeper is a young woman named
Melissa who had answered the call of duty following her
parent's untimely death in a car accident.
Ryder, who had
allowed his wife and family to believe he'd become a
casualty of the battlefield, had watched helplessly as
everyone he cared about aged and passed on. In his 140
years as a vampire he had never allowed his heart to become
involved again. Yet something about the feisty young
detective lights a fire in him that can't be extinguished.
He is sure he's seen her in his dreams. Diana however has
had nothing but nightmares and Ryder knows he can't really
give her what she needs.
He should be her top suspect, but in spite of her own
fears of losing the people she loves, Diana finds the
brooding nightclub owner irresistible. Together they begin
a dark dance that will lead them to the identity of the
killer. If they survive will their love endure? Darkness Calls is an intoxicating mixture of suspense, the
paranormal, and dark forbidden romance. This tale will not
fail to keep the reader turning pages as the author
alternately thrills and tugs at the heartstrings. Lovers
