"A wonderful prequel!"
This is a short story prequel to Ms. Cherry's FORCED MATE
and what a story it is! For those who always wondered about
Helispeta, Devoron-Vitan and Djohn Kronos, here is their
story! Djohn-Kronos has murdered his father and taken over as
Emperor of Tigron. Now he needs a mate and the mate he wants
is his brother, Devoron-Vitan's betrothed. He knows she's a
virgin and is strong which is just what he needs to be his
Empress. Only when he shows himself to Helispeta, it is as
his brother. Unfortunately Helispeta cannot tell the
difference. She goes through the ceremony and is wedded and bedded
before Djohn makes mention of the fact that she married the
wrong brother. She's livid and now has to figure out what
she can do about it. In the meantime Devoron can't figure out why his brother has
started a war and wants him to clean up the mess. When the
news is broken to him about Helispeta he decides enough is
enough. He will get her back but how? This may have been short but it sure packed a wallop! I just
hated that it was so short. Rowena's stories about Tigron
and its people are quite fascinating and I'm eagerly
awaiting more stories!
