"A bewitching historical anthology..."
The Bewitched Baron by Lynn Collum:
Friends Marion Long and Naomi Clayton were separated
while
receiving schooling. While Marion learned history and
English
Naomi's education was a little less conventional. Now
Marion's
brother is starting to notice that strange things happen
around
Miss Clayton. The Bewitchment of Lord Dalford by Debbie Raleigh:
Living in the mortal world has never been more difficult
for witch
Annie Winsome for she is forbidden to use her powers and
the London
season is fast approaching. How can she watch her dear,
clumsy
friend Lord Dalford make a fool of himself once more,
knowing she
could help him? Little does she know, Lord Dalford has a few
secrets of his own. The Reluctant Witch by Jeanne Savery:
All Lady Samantha Forsythe wanted to do was enjoy her
first season
in London. Just because she had been born a witch didn't
mean she
wanted to read fortunes or make love potions. She'd warned
her
friend that love spells never work as they're supposed to
but Mary
had insisted she was in love with Lord Dalreach. Now the
arrogant
man was pursuing Samantha! A BEWITCHING SEASON is an enchantingly light-hearted
anthology with
its three very different tales of witchcraft and romance. I
enjoyed
all of the stories and would find it impossible to pick a
favorite.
They each revolve around the heroine's experiences of the
fashionable London 'season' and how they find love in the
most
unlikely places. The stories were not as short as I feared
they
would be at first glance and had all the ingredients of a
lively
romance despite their length.
