"spiced up but faithful to the original story"

Isabelle Dunbar and her two spoiled sisters are travelling home to their sick father, when their coach is overtaken by outriders. It seems that Lord Glen Dubh wishes their presence. The sisters are scared but have no alternative other than to become the guests of Lord Glen Dubh. Lord Glen Dubh, known as a beast for his deformities, treats them with great hospitality. When the morning comes, he offers Isabelle two choices-- she can stay with him and he will cure her father, or she can leave and her father's illness will take his life. Isabelle chooses to stay and Haldon,Lord Glen Dubh, hopes that she will learn to love him in his beastly form and free him from his curse.

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST is a sexy retelling of the classic fairy tale. I have always enjoyed Beauty and the Beast stories, and this story is no exception. Ms. Neal remained faithful to the original story, but spiced it up a great deal. If you are looking for an enjoyable short story, give BEAUTY AND THE BEAST a try.
