"Unlikely angel aids romance"
Asking for forgiveness with his dying breath,
Pasquale 'Ray' Mandetti is given a chance to redeem
himself. He has to unite in love as many couples as
people the mobster murdered in hate during his life. As
he will take on a different human form and help his
assigned couples fall in love and marry. The "King of Hearts' first couple are Sarah Malcolm and
Harris Davidson. From different cities with different
priorities and lifestyles, just how is Ray supposed to
bring these two together? Sarah has been raising her twin siblings and managing her
parents restaurant A Taste Of Home since her parents
death. She only has time for family and the restaurant is
in financial difficulty. The last thing she needs is a
flat tire while on the way to the bank to ask for a loan.
Harris, a busy and wealthy CEO in town for business, has
no room in his life for love. When Ray, his temporary
driver, stops to help a woman with a flat tire Harris is
irritated by the interruption of his business schedule.
Her unwelcome chatter quickly becomes intriguing. And so
begins an unorthodox trip to meet his destiny. Sarah agrees to prove to Harris that love is real. The
appealing and often amusing twist in this story is that
both Harris and Ray are clueless about real love. The
reader will share the smiles and fears as real love proves
to be Sarah's true riches and Harris learns that love is
not an illusion as he believed. But what has Ray learned?
Ms. Garbera uses her talent to again provide romance
readers with a first-rate story with engaging characters.
Her writing style is captivating and flowing so you easily
loose yourself in the story. You will wish to read the
next installment of KING OF HEARTS series coming in
November 2004: CINDERELLA'S CHRISTMAS AFFAIR.
