"A vivid fantasy world with compelling characters..."
Like the princess in the fairytale, Swan of Avonleigh has
been cursed to spend her days as her graceful namesake,
only returning to her human form when the sun sets.
Banished to the magical and terrifying world of
Shadowmere, she finds aid from one of the predators she
fears. The shapeshifting Hunters are the Borderguards of
Shadowmere preventing humans from venturing into the land
of the 'unnaturals' and Raphael, Lord of the Hunters is
the only one the pack answers to. In this engaging sequel to UNTAMED we are returned to
Jaide Fox's vivid fantasy world where vampires,
shapeshifters and other 'unnaturals' make their home. It
is not necessary to have read the first story to enjoy
this one. However, as with all well written series,
reading the first story will enhance your enjoyment. Fans
of UNTAMED will enjoy revisiting the hero and heroine of
that book and love hearing more about the secondary
characters and newcomers to Jaide Fox's work will want to
seek out the first book. This is an erotic romance so the love scenes are fairly
detailed and the language used reflects that. However,
while sex is part of the plot it doesn't dominate it.
SEDUCED BY DARKNESS lives up to its title, capturing the
interest of readers with its sensual tone and the
compelling characters will leave you keen for another book
in the series.
