"A "fractured-fairytale" combining humor and passion"
KISSING FROGS is an imaginative and light-hearted twist to
the tale of the Frog Prince. Ms. Altom presents readers
with a "fractured-fairytale" romance containing a
seductive combination of humor and passion. A few years after her disastrous presentation on frogs to
the scientific community, Biologist Lucy Gordon is working
as a teacher and soon to be engaged to the Duke. While
driving home, she swerves to miss a frog on the road and
crashes. When she lifts the frog she missed hitting with
the car, she is astounded to see she has discovered a new
species and in her excitement, she kisses the frog. She
suddenly finds herself with a lapful of naked man who
claims he is a prince cursed as an enchanted frog. Prince Wolfe must convince Lucy to fall in love with him
before the full moon or he will revert to an eternity as a
frog. He is astounded that this wench would not fall
immediately in love with him and he must persuade her. Oh
and how he tries to convince her! When seduction doesn't
work, he relies on what he learns on 'talk TV' about what
a woman wants. Although set in an imaginary future, this is purely a
fantasy plot for enjoyment and not a serious sci-fi
setting. Don't look for technical details, just let
yourself go and enjoy an imaginary escapade where the only
sure thing is love will triumph in the end.
