"Tina's 10th book and it rates a 10!"
With this book Ms. Wainscott has shown she can make the
suspense strong without forgetting the romance in 'romantic
suspense'. She has made the terror of a serial killer real
without graphic gore and brought the story to a realisticly
satisfying ending. As a child, Katie Malloy has had 3 males strongly affect
her life... the bully, Gary and her heroes, neighbor, Silas
and veterinarian, Ben. Now 18 years later, there is a
serial killer who conceals his identity - is it of one of
them? There is an ESP connection to Katie that provides a
small paranormal element and the rest of the story is true
to small town life. The emotions and situations are
realistic enough to draw you into the story and keep you
wondering how this will end. I am not a person who enjoys
horror, but there is enough romance for this to be a book I
can recommend to romance readers. Cy Korte © Copyright October, 2001
