"Well written and complex vampire romance"
In San Antonio, Jovan, though used to death of loved ones
after
centuries as a vampire, holds the hand of his servant and
best friend,
Albert, as the man passes away. Jovan knows he must honor
the pact he
made a few hundred years ago with the Novazcek clan by
finding Albert's
descendent to replace him. Cherise Novack believes her life has hit bottom as she is
now unemployed
and her mother stole her jewelry. She wonders what to do
next and where
to turn with being homeless seemingly next. Jovan is
stunned that a
female is next in line, but does the right thing sending
his attorney
Victor (a lost soul the vampire redeemed) to inform her
she inherited a
fortune including a castle. However, the stipulation in
the will is
that she must live with Jovan, a hunk insisting he is a
vampire, who
recognizes the soul of his deceased wife Belle struggling
to take
control from Cherise. As they fall in love, she wonders
if he loves
Cherise or Belle. Fans of deep vampire romances with strong charcaters and
fully developed
complex dilemmas of the heart and soul will appreciate
Jacqueline
Elliot's FULL MOON INHERITANCE. The story line is loaded
with action
from the moment Jovan threatens a nasty family abuser
until the final
confrontation between a surprising yet obvious (hindsight
is always
accurate) opponent and the lead couple. The support
characters enhance
the insight into the protagonists whether they appear
throughout the
plot as Victor does or for a moment like Albert. Though
Jovan's
morality seems too perfect, sub-genre fans will value this
terrific
tale. Harriet Klausner
