REVIEW

"An interesting, refreshing, Fantasy romance!"

I just got around to reading this book. First, I'll say I really liked it Second, was it my imagination, or did it verge on being a Highlander book? You've got a Scot named Duncan; an immortal woman named Raven (the name of the new Highlander series), and bunches of immortals running around with pointy sharp things trying to remove bits of other immortals to gain their power. Of course, I didn't care since I love Highlander (and Duncan ), but I thought it was strange. That said...

Eternity was a good book. It's about a witch named Raven who, with her mother, is killed by hanging by an evil Immortal named Dearborne. Raven is an immortal though, and after her first death she'll never age. A disciple of Dearborne's named Duncan is revolted by the killing, and turns from evil to sail to America. Unbeknownst to him, Raven is on the same ship. Of course they're destined to meet in the New World, and although they fight their passion for each other... And of course, Dearborne follows.

I have to say there were some things in this book I'd never seen in a romance novel, and I found them interesting and refreshing, but since I don't want to spoil this for anyone, you'll just have to read it to find out what they are. But the book was nicely written.
