"Will singing from her heart win her prince?"

Cohl Travers must find the Demisian Amulet as ransom for his father, king of the planet Yre Gault. On a mission to find the perfect voice to activate the amulet, he hears Tess' voice on the radio. Once Tess' task is done and his father is rescued, Cohl will return her to home -- or will he?

Tess MacKenzie finally will have her singing career guaranteed with the new contract to be signed next week, and tonight's pay of three hundred dollars was important enough that no mugger is going to take it away from her! When she runs to escape, Tess bumps into a stranger who rescues her then informs her that he needs her voice to save his father. Tess finds herself on a space ship and wonders if she has lost her mind. She is NOT pleased with the man who tuned her life upside down just as it was starting to improve.

There is enough action to keep you turning pages and enough emotion and background to bring Cohl and Tess alive in the reader's mind. Both are strong personalities without being antagonistic. Pitz, Cohl's robot has a personality of his own and other secondary characters help make this a well-rounded story and a pleasure to read. The light touch of humor is not overdone and the romance is spicy. UNEARTHED is a book that any Futuristic fan will have in their 'must read' pile.

Life on Earth was just getting interesting for Tess MacKenzie. She'd postponed her singing career to support the family business and after eight long years, she finally earned her chance to shine. Her band was hot, her songs were rocking and Tess was on her way to becoming a star.

Things were definitely looking up.

That is until Cohl Travers, alien extraordinaire, swoops out of the night sky and snatches her off her planet. When he says he desperately needs her voice for a dangerous cosmic mission and the fate of two planets hangs on her song, she figures one of them is in for some serious therapy. Tess soon finds herself up to her neck in smelly bad guys, a robot with a superiority complex, an ancient Amulet that could end her singing career permanently and a man who can burn her from the inside out.

Cohl Travers thought he was free and clear of his destiny to become the next ruler of his planet. But when the warring Trakas abduct his father and hold him hostage for the Amulet, Cohl is dragged back to a fate he does not want with a woman he cannot ignore.

Together, they might defeat the Trakas -- but what is Cohl supposed to do about the feelings that Tess has unearthed in him?
