"A hysterical feline fantasy"
Maggie is a black cat who just LOVES her owner, Nicholas
Goodman, and wants to save him from marrying his fiancee,
Angela, who also happens to be the bosses daughter (and a -
itch) Maggie begs Old Tom, a magical cat, to turn her into
a human so she could persuade Nick not to marry his
fiancee. There are conditions she had to agree to: she must have
Nicholas tell her out loud that he loves her by the end of
a week. Also, Tom told Maggie she'd be a cat by day and a
human at night. This book was hysterical, with fabulous secondary
characters Deena (Nick's sister who talks to fairies) and
Hooper (Nick's best friend). This book isn't any silly
fairy-tale-like book . It is a book that shows deep
emotions and depth into human and feline behavior. Tears
will run down you eyes while laughing when you read how
Maggie learns to act like us humans (by watching tv shows
such as the Jerry Springer Show). Kiki / December, 2000
