"'...a wonderful adult fairy tale...'"
In the Highlands of Scotland two Clans wage war against
each other. Raised as part of the McKay Clan, Lady
Rhiannon
has been chosen by the side of Light. To fulfill a
prophecy
and defeat the Evil that threatens her world she must bind
herself to the man who bears the mark of the dragon.
Cursed
at birth, the McKay's enemy Laird Dylan McGregor is feared
and shunned by his family and those who live in his keep.
Now the dragons have come and the Clan is looking to him
to
save their lands and their lives but first he needs the
Light to lead the way. DRAGON LAIRD is vivid in the creation of Dylan and
Rhiannon's magical world and the dragons that have
encroached upon it. Equally realistic are the descriptions
of the battle scene between the clans, the evil
perpetrated
by the sorcerer and the destruction left behind by hunting
dragons. The villain of the story is wonderfully
detestable
and the heroes are sure to have readers asking for
prequels
and sequels. The relationship between the hero and heroine
progresses apace with the rest of the story and is sensual
enough in nature to satisfy those who prefer a little more
spice in their romance. This was a wonderful adult fairy tale and I could not put
it down. I sat up until the wee hours of the morning in
order to reach an astonishing ending, which left me eager
for the sequel. Deborah Lynne has penned a captivating
tale
which can be enjoyed by romance and fantasy genre fans
alike. ParaNormal Romance Reviews © Copyright 2003 Reviewed
