"A delightfully sensual and magical romance"
"A coven leader who mates with his complement is mated for
life. Once the relationship has been consummated, no
power,
in or out of this world, can challenge the leader's power." Drake Morgan is a male witch and coven leader, as well as
CEO of Morgan, Ltd., the corporate front for the Coven of
the Wolf. Being an equal opportunity employer, the fortune
500 company employs many humans, but the upper
administration consists of witches, with a few
shapeshifters thrown in. Unfortunately that includes Drake's cousin, Warrick
Bettencourt, who is planning a very hostile takeover of
both the family business as well as coven leadership,
using
his chaos magick to prevail over Drake. But Drake has been
to the company's solicitor's offices and one of their new
young lawyers is Rhea Brown, who is not only a witch
unknowing of her powers, but Drake's complement. If he can
mate with her, Warrick won't be able to overthrow his
leadership, ever. Thus begins the sensual story in Destiny's Magic, Rae
Morgan's short novel. Drake needs to make Rhea his lady,
so
he begins by seducing her on the astral plane, taking her
body to ecstasy over and over again... on the street, at
work, in the grocery store. The truth be told, it's all
rather embarrassing to Rhea, having multiple orgasms in
public. But she can't deny that this phantom lover of hers
isn't the best thing she's ever had in bed -- even if it's
a
long time before the pair ever winds up in bed together. The daughter of a pair of witches who'd abandoned the old
ways, Rhea is unaware of her heritage as a witch, and
finds
Drake a little overbearing at first. Fortunately this
alpha
male also happens to believe in sexual equality both in
and
out of the bedroom. Or bathroom, or the astral plane, and
he soon captures Rhea's heart. She in turn learns about
her
own powers and grows confident enough to help her lover
win
his battles. In addition to the love scenes that were plentiful and
delightfully sensual, this book does a good job of
establishing a world of magick, describing in colorful
detail how spells actually work. Having a novice witch
allows us to see the world as she learns about it and we
can delight with her over such things as hiding spells and
the ever-popular fireballs. Who hasn't wanted to learn how
to throw a fireball? Over all DESTINY'S MAGICK is a lovely read; well written
and edited.

Drake Morgan is a witch. He is also the leader of the
largest and most powerful coven in the United States. As he
fights enemies, both without and within, he continues his
search for the one woman, his complement, who can help him
protect his people from the dark machinations of a twisted
follower of chaos magick.
Since her move to Chicago to take possession of her
inheritance from her grandmother, Rhea Brown has heard
strange voices and experienced phenomena that can not be
explained away in a rational manner. Her cynical lawyer's
mind tells her she is over-stressed and imagining things.
When a dark-haired lover starts visiting her in her dreams,
both sleeping and waking, she learns that magick can be
real.
