"A great Time Travel debut"
I started this out enjoying it, but expecting to be able to
put it down a few times while I cleaned the house. Bad
choice. This book slowly but increasingly gets better and
more intense the further you read it. The hero and heroine simultaneously make a wish for love on
New Years Day that somehow enables the heroine to go to him
in the past, after she is hit on the head while visiting
his ancestral home. The hero is a tortured man, unable to connect with his
small daughter. The heroine has had her troubles too, but
has conquered her ghosts. She had half fallen in love with
an old picture of the hero, but finds he's not the perfect
man she expected in the flesh. Instead she becomes
determined to make him love his daughter, and falls in love
with him for real. But will she be able to stay in the
past?? You'll have to read to find out. Reviewed for original release: Jove (Time Passages)/April
