"Sweet and Spicy Fare"
Up until now the most exciting thing in Meg's life has been
winning the Illinois Teacher of the Year award. Meg is
currently running her sister's costume shop in Chicago,
while said sister enjoys her whirlwind honeymoon in Vegas.
Meg is not quite as rash as her sister, not her. She's
taking the time away from her hometown of Peoria, to
contemplate her response to a proposal of her own. Why is
she hesitating? Her prospective fiance' is handsome, sweet,
and very rich, but he sure isn't exciting. Things get exciting when Taylor Gee, TV sex kitten shows up
and practically buys out and burns down the store. The star
sure isn't as pleasant as she is pretty, but her gorgeous
body guard is a different story. Something about Meg appeals to him as well, but he isn't
staying and he's not the settling down type. Still there's
something about her he can't quite put his finger on.
Taylor's career is on the line due to her scandalous
behavior. When she takes one too many sleeping pills,
Jarett is in a quandary. Missing the evening's engagement
would be straw that broke the camel's back. Taylor is more
than a job to him, he'd grown up in the same house with her
and had promised her parents and brother he would look out
for her. Suddenly it clicks what it is about the quiet shop clerk
that seemed familiar. Though understated, she's a dead
ringer for Taylor. But how can he convince her to pose a
Taylor for one night? Like Cinderella Meg agrees to be transformed for just one
night. The beauty within charms all that behold her,
including Jarett. Jarett wants her as he has never wanted any one else. Meg
wants him too, and realizes that this probably be the only
chance she will have for this kind of excitement. For one
night she can be a sultry seductress. For a little while it
wouldn't matter that Jarrett isn't the marrying kind or
that she was just standing in for the woman he really
wanted. But having tasted this kind of passion once, could
she ever go back to her quiet life in Peoria? Not if the
seedy reporter who has been following them has his way
about it. They say no good deed goes unpunished and Meg stands to
lose it all if the truth gets out.
Where's a handsome prince when you need him? Pining in LA
that's where. In one night he had found true beauty and
passion rolled up in one sweet package, and he'd let it go.
Or had she let him go? Was he going to let the best thing
he'd ever had go without a fight? The spoiled starlet makes for a strange fairy godmother,
but only she can set him free. Deep down she really does
care about Jarett. Can she learn to stand on her own two
feet for the sake of his happiness? Two Sexy, is as sweet as it is sensual, the sexy twosome
are truly decent people and well deserving of each other.
