Summary

Rescuing the unconscious Spanish ranchero don Rafael Allende in a torrential thunderstorm, Jenny Dalton gets them to shelter. As Rafael shivers uncontrollably, Jenny warms him the only way she can—with her body. Warmed but not fully conscious, he responds as any man would when he finds a woman in his bed, and Jenny loves him the only way she can—with her body.

Recognizing that he's a popular and powerful rancher destined to marry a woman of Californian or Mexican nobility and she's just a foreigner he hired to care for a frail relative, a heart-sore Jenny later secretly leaves his ranch for good.
