Summary

Despite her phenomenal success, and the drastic change in her appearance, when ever novelist Janette Hayden looked in the mirror, the person starring back at her was still plain Jane Smith. Inside, she was still the excruciatingly shy, overweight, non-person from the wrong side of the tracks she'd been in high school. An invitation to her high school reunion offered her the opportunity to face her painful

school years and to banish plain Jane forever. Vowing this would be the last New Years Eve she would spend alone, with her solitary glass of champagne, Jane Smith wrote out her New Years Resolutions:

I. Make over plain Jane
(a) Attend reunion
(b) Seduce Ryan Shipman, high school heart throb

II. Get a real life.

She never expected the class bad boy would be at the reunion, nor that he would make a proposition she couldn't refuse.
