Summary

Caught up in an abusive relationship fueled by drug and alcohol abuse, Danielle Ord plans to murder her husband. A cyanide candle is her weapon of choice. Her sister-in-law has similar plands for Randy, but someone else beats them both to it. Detective Sandy March needs to find the real killer, yet his judgment is compromised by his growing attraction to the newly widowed Danielle.
