SummaryAstrophysicist Dr. Jesse Wren is about to begin her
research when she is struck down by the QoG, a little bit
of the stars she loves so well. In the aftermath of the
illness that follows, Jesse makes a desperate choice. Much
to her dismay, she is rescued by Gabriel Hunter, a
dangerous and unconventional man who interferes with
Jesse's plans not out of compassion, nor even interest, but
because he must for his own survival. While Jesse and
Gabe's new found love grows, both the FBI and the original
owners of the QoG close in on them. Will the FBI succeed in
capturing Jesse, Gabe and his son, Sam? Will the owners of
the QoG recover the QoG and all the wealth it represents,
or will the FBI and/or the Llyssans have to settle for
destroying Jesse and all who have come in contact with her?
