Summary

The Legacy Tree is a contemporary romance novel based in a suburban Maryland town about a young woman, Robyn Douglass, who is content with the connections she has made in her life. Though she is a large woman, she is both physically active and has a normal social schedule. In addition, she has a fine job that she enjoys, a loving set of parents who are still married after many years, and a best friend whom she?d met as a pre-teen. It doesn?t seem possible that her life could get much better, until her best friend invites her on a camping trip over her birthday weekend. What follows is a compelling story of two very ?real? people who love each other desperately but can?t seem to find their way into each other?s arms.
