Summary

The alien telepathic influence over selected humans to produce a specific chain of events in the development of the human species was stopped sixty years ago after disastrous results with Adolf Hitler. Now the Earth is revisited and through the United States political system, the process has begun again.

Greg Carlson and Sarah Ferguson. Two ordinary people, or at least they think they are, find themselves forcibly removed from Earth and thrust into an alien organization, the United Council of Developing Worlds. Through alien politics and other reasons unbeknownst to them, they become pawns in a grand scheme, which may cost them their lives...and more then once.

Copolla, the alien Leader of the United Council for Developing Worlds, wants the two humans from Earth killed as soon as possible. Why he has selected these two unlikely candidates to become part of the alien organization is the beginning of the mystery that unfolds to the reader, an intricate plot of deception and manipulation that spans over fifty years of Earth history.
