Summary

On Earth's once decimated surface, the last of an ancient people live - they belive they are the only ones left. Not far from their mountain home another populace had survived the holocaust. Deep within the earth they exist, toiling for their masters in the cavernous underworld called Sanctum. On the surface the tribal priest's son leaves the mountsin to venture out into New-Earth, while below ground, a group plans to escape the city. The two disparate bands meet in a confrontation that could save the remnants of humankind.
