FEATHER ON THE WIND by CATHERINE SNODGRASS
|
SummaryOn the night of the autumnal equinox, Raina Cotterell
uncovers a corridor while searching for the tomb of an
ancient Mayan ruler. She and her colleagues step from 1970
to 750 and into a ceremony to select a bride for the Mayan
prince, Al-Mon. The Mayans believe she is the chosen bride
sent as a gift from the gods. To protect one of her colleagues, Raina agrees to wed Al-
Mon. In the months which follow she falls in love with her
prince, and finally tells him why she cannot stay. The pain
of her revelation haunts Al-Mon, for he does not wish to
live in a world without her. He decides his only solution
is to replace his look-alike, Burke O'Neill, in the future.
He must find a way to convince Burke to stay and to avoid
another more deadly foe who will do anything to keep the
men from switching places. Additional InformationThis title will be rereleased in March 2003.
